for working as a normal physical therapist in germany you will need a job permission. Your master is an acedemical degree, so you can work in the scientific environment (clinical research, study assistant etc.) It may be necessary for the job permission to complete the theoretical and practical exam. I know a friend who did so after his Msc. in PT.
The job situation in Germany for PT working as an employee in a practice or clinic is at follows: In a practice lots of PT's are needed and there are lots of vacant jobs, more than in a clinic. German language skills are essential.
An assistantship as PT does not exist in germany
Salary for PT (treating patients) is not much. For a full time job maybe 1800-2000€ dependent of the place (east germany less, south-west more). Furthermore special qualifications/ diplomas are warranted: i.e. manual therapy, PNF etc. They are expensive and much time-comsuming.
I would guess to find an employment in an academical environment.
Performance analysis: There are some gait laboratories in Germany (Frankfurt, Aschau, Heidelberg.. )some offer an (mostly low) paid practicum.
Best regards Chris

Kind Regards,
here´s a link to the website of the physiotherapy association in Germany about recognition of foreign degrees:
[kaputter Link]
You will find a link on top of the website for an english version (pdf document).
Basically, what they say is "Applicants will receive the legally protected title "physiotherapist" in Germany, if their diplomas in physiotherapy have been proven to be equivalent to German Physiotherapy diplomas. Germany assesses each case separately. If equality of the diplomas is not given and
relevant differences were decided the applicant wil l have a legal claim for adjustment measures (choice for course of studies, which will
be tested with respect to success) or examination of knowledge."
In terms of your experience, it´s certainly valuable, Maitland and Mulligan are also accepted methods of manual therapy here in Germany. However, in order to bill a referral of manual therapy with health insurance, you´ll need a "Zertifikat":
Have a look here:
[kaputter Link] (unfortunately, it´s only in German)
Good luck with your efforts!
Melanie

Du kannst direkt bei deiner Bezirksregierung nachfragen, wie du deinen Abschluss anerkennen lassen kannst. Wenn du deine Anerkennung hast kannst du als Physiotherapeut arbeiten.
MfG :)
Hilfe findest du vermutlich beim größten deutschen Verband für Physios:
Deutscher Verband für Physiotherapie (ZVK) - Fachkreise
Dein Schriftdeutsch ist schon mal wirklich gut!
